And it's even quicker that before, because there isn't any meat to cook. And it's cruelty free too :)
Let's get to the recipe.
Ingredients:
300 g (4 cups) chopped mushrooms
200 g (2 cups) chopped peppers
150 g onions (1 large onion)
200 g (3 cups) chinese cabbage,
shredded
170 g (6 oz) seitan, cut into bite size
pieces
The sauce:
60 ml sweet chili sauce
40 ml soy sauce
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1/4 tsp ground pepper
1/5 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp corn starch
50 ml water
Mix all the ingredients for the sauce
until well combined and you don't have any lumps.
You're gonna cook everything on high
heat and need to stir frequently, so you have to have all the
ingredients prepared when you start cooking.
In a pan or wok add some vegetable oil
or water. Cook the onions for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Add the
peppers and cook for about 1 minute. Add the stems of the cabbage and
the mushrooms and cook for about 2-3 minutes. Add the sauce and mix
well. Cook for 2 more minutes and add the leafy part of the cabbage.
Turn off the stove.
Enjoy with the grains of your choice or
noodles!
